We have closed down our teen chat rooms for safety reasons.

We are worried about the safety of children / minors. We noticed that a lot of users under 18 or posing as under 18 were engaging in in-appropriate converstions or discussions. The notices displayed on the message boards by teens were also of concern to us.

Our idea of providing a safe and clean environment for people to come in and chat was not being acheived.

Hence we have decided to limit access to our chat rooms by adults only.

For your safety, please do not attempt to access the chat rooms, if you are not an adult.

We will also appreciate suggestions to make our chat site better and safer.

SAFETY TIPS FOR YOUTH WHILE ACCESSING CHAT ROOMS ( presented for guidance purposes )

Do not enter into chat rooms designated for adults. Remain in chat rooms meant for your age group only.

Remember your basic safety guidelines whether you are in a chat room or e-mailing people:

Never agree to meet someone alone.

Never meet someone without telling your parents, or in the case of college students, telling someone who will know where you are meeting.

Never meet someone in a non-public secluded location.

Never give out your full name, phone number, or address.

We strongly urge you to follow these guidelines.

Treat others kindly and with respect, and please feel free to have fun while keeping conversations appropriate.
